I’ve been lax these past few weeks in the /diary department, but thought it’d be apropos to end the year with a view of the city: downtown Los Angeles and the museum, where I’ve spent so much time this past fall. Here is Mere, accompanying the skyline at the end of a meeting in the 5th floor conference room. I remember we could see the late afternoon sun reflecting sherbet off the Hollywood sign and Griffith Park Observatory, and thinking it was pretty cool to be living in this city.
(Fun but imprecise fact: I heard that part of the GI Joe movie, or something similar, was shot up here. They made it look like an underground bunker.)
