Thank you to Lisa, her colleagues and students for allowing me to tag along on a fantastic field trip today. Kate Davis gave us an amazing tour of her Raptor Ranch in Florence, then we visited the Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge, and finally made a short hike up the Kootenai Creek trail. And, I got to have extremely interesting conversations with people from Japan, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Burkina Faso, Venezuela, Tajikistan, Korea, and Billings. It was an excellent day.
