The MOCA Pacific Design Center has a fantastic exhibition in their space right now: archival materials from Denise Scott Brown, Robert Venturi, and Steven Izenour’s seminal book, Learning From Las Vegas. While we perused the show, Colleen pointed out how outrageous it is that Mr. Venturi has spent his career collaborating with Ms. Scott Brown, yet the Pritzker jury awarded the prestigious prize only to him in 1991.
